Students who earned less than 15 points can submit (or re-submit) this assignment with permission from the teacher. The mini-quiz at the top of the signature page is worth up to 5 points late (half for effort, half for correct answers) and the parent signature portion is worth 10 points.

Week 1:
Nov. 29th: Schoolwide Standardized Testing
Nov. 30: Schedules given for Trimester B: Team- Building Exercise in Ms.Gall's classes.
Dec. 1-2: ACT prep and MME prep SCIENCE COMMON ASSESSMENTS, syllabus and mini-quiz given by Ms. Gall
Dec. 3: Ms. Gall's students review selected test prep items, makeup tests, discuss syllabus and work on mini-quiz

Week 2:
Dec. 6: Substitute Teacher. CONSERVATION OF MATTER PACKET GIVEN- all hour spent working on this overview for the first half of the trimester.
Dec. 7: Discuss CONSERVATION OF MATTER PACKET, prepare for tomorrow's quiz; SIGNED SYLLABUS IS DUE
Dec. 8: Quiz: Conservation of Matter; pre-lab: Does mass remain constant during a chemical reaction? (from KC4 curriculum)
Dec. 9: Notes, Lab: acid (vinegar), base (baking soda), indicators (red cabbage, red and blue litmus paper)
Dec. 10: Teacher Professional Development: No School for Students

Week 3:
Dec. 13: Begin Conservation of Matter Project (topical journal) due on January 3.
Dec. 14-16: Schoolwide Standardized Testing
